French & English Tutoring

We offer one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to your needs, whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills. Online and in person.

Immersion Week in French

Spend a week in France, practicing your language skills and immersing yourself in the culture. Includes daily lessons, accommodation, breakfast/lunch, and local excursions. Coming in Spring 2027.

Immersion Week in English

Do you or your child need to improve your English skills? Join us for an immersive week in an English-only environment. Includes daily lessons, accommodation, breakfast/lunch, and local excursions.Coming in Spring 2027.

I'm a French-American educator currently based in the United States, with over 20 years of experience in language education. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with learners at all levels—from young children in elementary school to high school students and adults. My teaching style blends immersive instruction, cultural context, and personalized support to help each student build confidence, fluency, and a genuine connection to the language.

Whether you're seeking structured tutoring, conversational practice, or a full immersion experience in French or English, I offer a flexible and experienced approach tailored to your goals. I'm excited to bring my unique background and passion for language learning to help you succeed on your journey.

June 2024

Immersion Week Trial

In June 2024, three adult students joined me for the first immersion week experience in the Burgundy region of France.The aim was to provide intensive language and cultural experiences for participants. This initiative seeks to deepen learners' engagement and proficiency through real-world practice and interaction.
2017-Present

Secondary Level & Adult Learners

In 2017, I began to work with secondary students and adult learners, focusing on advanced language acquisition and cultural competence. This shift allowed me to explore new pedagogical approaches and collaborate with a diverse range of learners.
2012-2017

A New Chapter

In 2012, I moved to California to teach at the newly opened Santa Rosa French American Charter School. During this time, I expanded my teaching repertoire and specialized language programs. I also began to develop my own curriculum materials, focusing on real-world language use and cultural competence.
2009-2012

Immersion Beginnings

The state of Utah has over 100 dual immersion programs in its public schools, the highest number in the nation. These programs provide students with the opportunity to learn in both English and a second language, fostering bilingualism and biliteracy. I was fortunate to be a part of this movement from the beginning as one of their first French immersion teachers.
